Qolsys IQ Panel 4

The IQ Panel 4 is an All-in-one smart security system that has a clean and modern user interface with a 7” high-definition capacitive glass multi-touch screen. The system has a 1280 X 800 resolution with multi-gesture capability that allows you to swipe through the different screens just like a tablet. There are different screens for the different features and devices setup on each individual smart security system. For example, you will have separate screens for security, smart locks, cameras, smart thermostats, smart lighting, garage door control, etc. Using all the latest technology the IQ Panel 4 has built in wireless radios including LTE Cellular, Dual Band Wi-Fi, PowerG, Encrypted Security RF, Z-Wave 700, and Bluetooth. The security system keypad can be mounted on a wall or placed on a counter or table using the included table stand. The IQ Panel 4 also includes an onboard 8MP camera that can take pictures anytime the alarm system is armed or disarmed. Other great features include smartphone app/web-based control of the system via Alarm.com, Two-Way voice monitoring, a photo frame screensaver, built-in glass break detector, Bluetooth disarming, dual-path connectivity, live view for alarm.com cameras, and a built-in access point.

PowerG Sensors

The IQ Panel 4 has Dual SRF with PowerG which allows for the use of standard wireless security sensors as well as PowerG sensors. PowerG wireless sensors offer all the advantages of traditional wired security sensors but without the annoyances and vulnerabilities of wires. The sensors are extremely reliable and have two-way 128-bit AES encryption and superb protection that blocks interference to provide ultimate cyber protection. PowerG long range wireless transmission allows for the sensors to work even in very large homes and commercial properties without the need to run wires or add wireless repeaters. PowerG devices are certified with ULC Wireless Commercial Burglary Listing 1, 2 and 3 which is an industry first in Canada. This approval means that the sensors have been certified with the highest level of requirements for commercial applications which keeps businesses and families safer. With up to 2KM wireless range and up to 8 years of battery life PowerG sensors are game changing in the security world.

Does the Qolsys IQ Panel 4 have an option for Night Stay Arming Mode?

Yes, the Qolsys security system gives you the option to arm your system in "Stay" or "Away" modes. Arming the alarm system in Stay mode will arm all your security sensors except for your motion sensors. This can be customized by programming specific motion sensors to arm in Stay mode (ex. having the basement motion armed in Stay mode). Away mode will arm all of your security sensors including your doors, motions, glassbreaks, etc. Life safety devices, like monitored smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, connected to your system will stay on 24/7.

How does the Secure Arming feature work on the IQ Panel 4?

Secure Arming works on the IQ Panel 4 by requiring you to enter a valid user code when arming the security system. You must also enter a valid code if you try to cancel an arming session before the security system is fully armed. The feature can be enabled or disabled within the Security & Arming Menu.

What is the Smart Start feature on the Qolsys IQ Panel 4?

The Smart Start feature on the Qolsys IQ 4 allows you to easily integrate any compatible automation devices with the security system by simply scanning a QR code with the built-in camera on the system. Some types of compatible devices include smart lights, smart locks, smart thermostats and more.
